Emerson Motor for older style Pool pumps.  The pumps that use this motor were rarely used after about 1980.  These were the Bronze and first generation Plastic pumps, all of these would use a shaft extension to mount the impeller.  We recomend possibly changing the entire pump for energy cost savings.  You can contact us for proper analysis of Horsepower needs.

We only carry Full-Rated motors most online and retailers carry up-rated motors.  That means when you buy a 11/2 HP you are actually getting a 1 Hp motor with a sticker showing maximum horsepower, however it usually can suffer in Hot climates which is why most manufacturers prefer to use full rated motors.
